Its geographical location lies between the Eastern Ghats and the coast of the Bay of Bengal. It's the most populous city in the state. Visakhapatnam is one of the main tourist destinations in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The city is famous for its beaches, caves and Eastern Ghats, as well as its wildlife sanctuaries. Telugu is the most spoken language in the city, with 91.72% speakers, followed by Urdu (2.54%), Hindi (2.10%), Odia (1.00%), Tamil (0.35%), Malayalam (0.36%), and Bengali ( 0.41%).

Although I did visit Vizag several years ago. But the scenarios of Rishikonda Beach, Kailash Giri and most of all Araku Valley still remain to this day especially when I was returning from Araku Valley by car. The rows of green hills never will be deleted from my mind till my death.
Tourist Spots
One of the most popular beaches of Vishakapatnam, Ramkrishna beach is a beach to spend some relaxed time, enjoy strolls across the beach, sunbathe and more. With a number of tourist spots in and around the city, the beach is filled with a lot of hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, it is highly advisable not to swim, as it can be very dangerous and is said to have claimed lives in the past.
Rishikonda Beach
Rishikonda Beach is also called as Rushikonda Beach, a stunning beach located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Situated in the town of Vishakhapatnam, the Simhachalam temple is an ornate shrine which is considered to be one of the famous temple in the region.The edifice is perched atop a hill 800 meters above sea level and is dedicated to Lord Narasimha, who is an incarnation of Vishnu himself. Simhachalam Temple is embellished with extremely detailed stone carvings and designs and can be spotted from a distance.
VUDA Park
VUDA park is a popular attraction in Visakhapatnam and a favorite among the tourists. musical-waterfall is one of the main attractions here. The park also has a skating rink and many small playgrounds for children. The park is designed and built by the VUDA and is in proximity of Ramakrishna Beach. Its an ideal spot for a late evening snack, especially if you have kids.
Located on the east coast of India, the Bora Caves are located in the Ananthagiri hills in the Araku Valley in the Visakhapatnam district. British geologist William King discovered this million-year-old cave in the year 1807 and has been a tourist favorite ever since. Breath taking hilly terrain, beautiful landscape, semi-evergreen moist deciduous forests, and wild fauna of the Bora Caves are a visual feast. The nature of a marvelous creation, the caves formed when river waters flowed through a limestone area and the calcium carbonate turned into calcium bicarbonate, which is easily washed out by running water. Bora Caves are deemed to be the largest in the country and in the country. are perched at a whopping elevation of about 705 meters. They are essentially karstic limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 m and are considered to be the deepest cave in India.

Araku Valley is a comparatively unexplored hill station visited by locals as a weekend getaway and is located some 125 kilometers away from Vishakhapatnam. Located in the gentle hills of Eastern Ghats, Araku Valley is also home to a number of tribes as well. This valley is also home to a few tribal caves and the Tribal Arts Museum, which are an experience of their own. This destination is quite famous for its exquisite coffee, whose subtle aromas will make you craving for a cuppa.

Besides all of these, there are so many viewpoints like Katiki Waterfalls, Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary, Submarine Museum, Dolphin Nose, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park etc. maybe visit.

Airport : Visakhapatnam has its own domestic and international airport which connects it to all major Indian cities.
Local Services : Different buses, auto-rickshaws, and cabs are available for internal travel. The surrounding areas are secluded and free of human intervention. The various trekking trails allow them to be explored on foot.
