Bathing in the Ganges is believed to wash away all sins. But Narmada was acquitted of all sins as soon as one's saw it. It's about 30 km from Jabalpur station to Bheraghat or Bhedaghat.

Jabalpur is an old town in Madhya Pradesh on the banks of the River Narmada. As an industrial area and also the famous 98 ft high Dhuandhar waterfalls, marble artwork and historic and cultural structures of Jabalpur are now gaining in popularity as a tourist attraction.
Dhuandhar Falls and Bhedaghat-Marble Rocks are Jabalpur's most popular sights. In addition, the Madan Mahal Fort of the 17th century near the Narmada River is a must-visit and the renowned Chausath Yogini Temple is situated near Roopnath. Apart from these, Balancing Rock is another spot for Jabalpur visitors.
A vibrant city with modern facilities and diverse working-class residents, British architecture and lovely natural landscapes are found here. Also nearby, Jabalpur is a central place to visit the wildlife destinations in Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Park.
Dhumadar or Dhuandhara Waterfall
The sound of thousands of water waves can be heard as soon as visitors' eyes turn. A smoky waterfall. Narmada's emerald crashed on the white stone. It's drunkards, that's the word. Thousands of water particles mix in the air and create white smoke from a height of ninety-eight feet. That's why it is known as the waterfall of Dhumadar or Dhuandhara. The combination of roar, raining, surge, and speed indescribable in this type of Narmada! Here is possibly the term "tremendously beautiful." The heavenly feeling of cold-smoked tea on a spring morning and the solemn music of a waterfall can be hard to explain in words. The panorama is beautiful and the environment is constantly packed with visitors who want to see the falls.
The waterfall is approximately 32-35 km west of Jabalpur and is linked via the Bhedaghat Road. Visitors can easily rent a car or any other transport available locally to get to this location.
Bhedaghat
The marble rocks in Bhedaghat are at a height of a hundred feet and extend over 24 km and located 27 km from the main city of Jabalpur on the banks of the river Narmada. The marble stones mirror sunshine and cast shadows in Narmada's pristine water to create a calm and enchanting atmosphere. Marble as magnesium calcareous rocks cast various colors in different lights and look particularly stunning in the light of the moon.
From Panchvati Ghat to Bhedaghat, visitors can enjoy a trip on a motorboat from 7am to 7pm on a 25 km trail in the morning. The whole journey is a very majestic one.
The Madan Mahal Fort, which was built in Raja Madan Shah in 1116 AD, was nestled nicely on a rocky hill. This fort rises to a height and gives a panoramic view of the city and the countryside around it.
Earthquakes of magnitude up to 6.5 at Richter scale have also survived the Balancing Rock Jabalpur shape, which is essentially eroded volcanic rock formations. The local people assume that the equilibrium of these rocks cannot be disrupted at all.
Best Time to Visit
It's the best time to visit Jabalpur from September to March. The climate here is subtropical humid, typical of the south-central zone of the Deccan. So the best time to visit Jabalpur in the winter. From September to February, Jabalpur sees quite a rush of visitors crowding its main attractions, the Marble Rocks, Madan Mahal Fort, the Rani Durgavati Museum, and more. Dhuandhar Falls and Chausatyogini Temples are also some popular places to visit. Summers ought to be stopped.
How to Reach
Jabalpur has its own airport and regular flights are accessible from all major Indian cities. Jabalpur has a railway station too. Transport infrastructure (Road) is well, and visitors can easily take a bus or hire a car to get here. The NH7 (National Highway) passes through here, which links Varanasi to Kanyakumari. NH12 also attaches Jabalpur to Jaipur and other towns along the way.
